I feel like (…) the underlying explanation behind why I’ve never been much interested in figuring out How The Grid Works (…) because, in Legacy, the creators didn’t seem much interested, either (…)
But the potential energy held by those landscapes, that world, is immense, and I admire the fandom so much for working with what they’ve been given.

I’m reasonably balanced brain-wise… it’s actually really weird. The left side wants to analyze the s*** out of everything and just do all the social science, and the right side wants to write stories and feel feels and be crazy.

Greeting, program, and voices

I just set the phrase that starts up the Android voice thing on my phone and it’s “greetings, program”. Man, I’m predictable… but hey, it works, so whenever I do voice commands I’ll go on imagining little neon-clad people executing them with gusto.
I’ve been doing that on my PC for a while, but doesn’t it get awkward when you turn the phone on around other people? My bro and cousins laughed their head off all day because of my computer’s system voice lines. I still have them. But I can’t do it on a mobile phone… *shy*
